Lifestyle tip #1: Early Rise
Allow an hour or so to do any of these before rushing out the door in the morning. It may seem like a chore for those of you who like to sleep in, but trust us, after trying it out, you will get why.
Spend a few minutes doing these upon waking: light stretches, take in deep breaths, and say a short prayer.
After having a glass of water, make yourself a cup of warm tea to sip slowly.
If you’re a morning workout person, go for it! If possible, pick a workout that’s outdoor. Nothing beats fresh morning air.
Lifestyle tip #2: Planning/ Organizing/ Journalling
Planning - You can either be planning your day activities, personal/work tasks, errands, to-dos, etc.
Organizing a small section of your life/space - Make your bed, clear out your wallet, clean your bag, organize your phone's homepage, etc
Journalling - Pen down your thoughts on a journal, your goals for the day, your dream vacation spots, your desired fitness regime, etc.
You will find yourself feeling inspired, motivated, happier, a sense of achievement and more cheerful somehow doing any of these.. Try it out and let us know how it goes!
Lifestyle tip #3: Nutrition
Starting your day with a great meal always never fails. It doesn’t matter if it’s a heavy or light meal, what’s most important is the nutrient content and that it’s good for your body! If you’re on a fast, and your first meal is much later towards the day - pack it and make it a to-go (we recommend breakfast recipe 3 below for this)
Breakfast Tip 1: Unprocessed, wholesome, and natural.
Breakfast Tip 2: High in nutrient - pick a meal that you enjoy, satisfies you and of course good for you.
Breakfast Tip 3: Make it easy & simple. Best to avoid complicated recipes, pick something easy and simple to do. Try some of our favourites here!
